The last thing you want when seeing your favorite artist is barred entry because you didn’t notice the venue rules or restrictions on your tickets. Like every other venue, Live Oak Bank Pavilion has strict regulations in place before you step through the door, including the following:

Are There Minimum Age Requirements for Live Oak Bank Pavilion’s Shows?

According to Live Nation, all Live Oak Bank Pavilion shows are all-ages. Still, check your tickets because some events carry age restrictions. Adults must also accompany children for safety purposes near the river and crowds.

What Are This Venue’s Prohibited Items?

The Live Oak Bank Pavilion venue states prohibited items that you can not bring through doors if you don’t want security to stop you. Here is the full list of prohibited items:

  • Bags that do not fit within the clear bag policy (defined below).

  • Weapons (including pepper spray and pocket knives).

  • Alcohol.

  • Drugs and all illegal substances.

  • Cans or glass containers.

  • Large or hard-sided coolers.

  • Laser pointers.

  • Fireworks.

  • Outside food or drinks (sealed water may be permitted as defined below).

  • Animals (the venue does permit service animals).

  • Chain wallets and any other items with chains.

  • Professional cameras (including detachable lenses and zooms over one inch).

What’s the Bag Policy for This Venue?

This Wilmington venue allows you to bring clear bags under 12″x12″x6″, so plan a bag the size of a backpack (or smaller). The venue will not allow you to bring any bags inside that are not clear, including small clutches, fanny packs, or purses. If you attempt to enter with a bag, the venue will take it as you walk through the doors (or bar your entry).

Can You Bring in Chairs or Blankets to Your Wilmington Show?

Yes, Live Oak Bank Pavilion allows low-profile lawn chairs with legs shorter than 9″ and small blankets no larger than 4’ x 8’. You may also rent chairs or blankets once inside the venue or purchase blankets for sale from guest services.

Can You Bring Water Inside the Venue?

Yes, Live Oak Bank Pavilion allows visitors to bring water into the venue in factory-sealed bottles no larger than one gallon. You may also bring an open, empty water container that you can fill up once you’re inside the venue. Water refill stations and fountains in select locations around the venue should keep you hydrated while you party.

What’s the Smoking Policy at Live Oak Bank Pavilion?

The Live Oak Bank Pavilion venue is inside a public Wilmington park. It does not allow smoking or vaping of any kind, and the venue does not provide any designated smoking areas. 

Are Posters Allowed?

Live Oak Bank Pavilion allows posters smaller than 8.5 x 11 (a standard sheet of paper) to prevent obstructing people’s view of the stage. Posters must be appropriate, or the venue will not allow them in.

Are Strollers Allowed?

You can bring strollers into the venue for the lawn section. The venue will search your stroller upon entry.
